Soren Candell is a colorist and photographer based in Los Angeles, California. He graduated in 2024 from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a BFA in Filmmaking and a concentration in Cinematography. Drawing from his background in painting, Soren has a deep understanding of color theory and how to make an image pop.
As a photographer, Soren draws influence from the surreal and uncanny, exploring dreamlike, otherworldly concepts through his lens. With experience across a wide range of projects—from documentaries to narrative films—Soren is committed to enhancing visual storytelling, blending his technical precision with a rich, artistic sensibility.
